ORLANDO, FL (June 23, 2023) – Team Nautique athlete Erika Lang has broken the World Record in Women's Trick with a score of 11,360 points behind the record-setting Ski Nautique.
The record was set during the Masters LCQ Tournament held at Jack Travers Sunset Lakes in Groveland, Florida and has been approved by the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF).
“I’m so excited to have set a new world record behind the Ski Nautique,” said Team Nautique athlete Erika Lang. “Being able to eclipse my previous record of 11,260 points set in 2019 is something I’ve been working hard on. The Ski Nautique’s wakes are so crisp and clean allowing me to execute each trick with precision. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and I’m excited to keep pushing myself and the limits of trick skiing!”
Erika has had an incredibly strong season thus far winning the 63rd Nautique Masters last month and now etching her name into history with another world record behind the Ski Nautique.
“I’d like to congratulate Erika Lang on this huge accomplishment!” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. "The Ski Nautique has once again provided what it takes to break another world record. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for Erika!“
